The 3 “divas” – Hildegard, Marlene and Greta – which show their corners and edges as sunglasses, are made of extravagant vintage acetate plates from the extensive stock of the Kinsau spectacle manufacturer.
The two Ladies Louise & Josefine, whose feminine karma is immediately transferred to their wearers, of course made from the handlaminated acetate plates with rose petals, hops, colorful peppers, feathers, etc.
We also show other exceptional Unique lamination on the Mido!

In Spring we will move to our new headquarters in the industrial area of the small Bavarian village Kinsau. Our
manufactory, warehouse, office and FUNK Optik Store will occupy an area of more than 2500 sqm.
Also our own store in Berlin-Mitte got additional space in the basement which used to be a wine cellar. So we will be able to offer an “eyewear spectacle” on around 300 sqm. The atmosphere will be really special because the cellar is kept true to the original as much as possible – a pure workshop feeling! Here we will continue to make customised eyewear.
